Happy Birthday to Us {and how I might be obsessed with Aqua and Red}

We have lots of birthdays in January so I decided to throw a party for all the girls.  And it was sort~of a surprise.  Which made it even more fun.  I enlisted the help of my dear friend, Valentina, for party styling and catering.  She’s an amazing young lady.  Just take a look…

This is pictures of all the birthday girls… in matching frames.  So pretty!

And this cake was so beautiful.  But wait…

Not only was it Red Velvet, but it had Birthday Cake Ice Cream in the middle.  To.  Die.  For.  Plus!  It totally matched our color scheme!!

And here we are blowing out the candles.  Let’s see… technically, the cake should’ve had  64 + 45 + 40 + 14 candles… but we didn’t want to burn the house down.  And who’s counting anyway!

We had lots of yummy food courtesy of Valentina.  Be sure to hop on over to her blog for the full details!

This is my big girl with one of her besties, Avs.  Loved having all the Medinis girls over for the fun.  Oh, and look what Alison gave ME…

She is one of the best gift~givers EVER.  Seriously.  I get nervous when it comes time for her birthday!

And here is my sissy with HER bestie, Deborah.  They’ve been friends since they were 3.  It was so much fun listening to them giggle all weekend.  Deborah has a memory like a steel trap, baby… funny lady!!

And then there’s my Mom and her bestie (who also happens to be my aunt), Robin.  Inseperable, these two.  And oh, how much I love them!  Eh~hem… notice the cute aprons?  Those were party favors.  Cute~city!!!

 I’m considering asking if Claire wants to move in with us because baby girl had a BLAST with her.

It was a ton of fun.  And the food was delicious.  The best part, of course, was the company.  I love my girls!!!

So, tell me, are you celebrating something soon?  Would love to know what you’ve got planned.

PS… this party is a perfect example of how I use Pinterest.  Check out my board below where we gathered ideas for the party.  LOVE Pinterest!  You can follow me here!  Oh, and if you need an invite, send me your email address.

    Oh, LOVE the new blog look. Who helped you with the re-design? I”m actually looking around at potential web designers, because at some point I want to give my blog a makeover :) :)

    Red and aqua sounds like a great combination..Your party is lovely!!!! My favorite was seeing all of the girls/ladies with their best friends. Friendships are so important ;) :) Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)
