Why don’t I like fruit?

Sometimes I wonder if it’s that ‘eating by your blood-type’ thing.  Maybe people with my blood type don’t like sweet things.  I don’t know.  But I don’t really like fruit.  Or sweets in general.  I hesitate to say this… but I don’t even really like chocolate.  {except for brownies and PW’s chocolate sheet cake}.

I’m one of those salty, sour, savory cravers.

There is one fruit, however, that I do love.

Day 7. 30 Day Photography Challenge. Fruit

It’s not so much that I love the taste of watermelon.  It’s the fact that the taste conjures up memories.  Of summer.  In Alpine.  With my family.  On the 4th of July.

Plus, it’s fun to have seed spitting contests with your cousins.  Or it was.

It has to be straight out of a cooler filled with ice and water.  It’s the only way.

Big, Mj

PS.  Wait.  I just remembered.  I DO love fruit.  Duh.  avocados are a fruit.

Your blog is adorable :) :) Apparently I hadn’t added it to my blogroll yet. That situation was just remedied :) :) I can’t wait to read your next post ;) :) Have a great week. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)
